5 Major fashion moments:

Cynthia Erivo in Louis Vuitton, who, like her costar, sported a character referencing dark green leather ensemble, with lovely green Roberto Coin jewels to match, leaving us with such excitement for Wicked’s November 27th premiere.

Ariana Grande in Giambattista Valli, Specifically, A custom couture look, bringing in the Pink homage to her upcoming role as Glinda in Jon M. Chu’s Wicked film Adaptation.

5 Major Highlights:

before the show:

Vanessa Hudgens sported more than a stunning black custom vera wang turtle neck gown on the pre-show carpet interviews, she also debuted her baby bump, announcing her first child in the most spectacular way ever, on the red carpet.

during:

  • Ryan Gosling gave a stellar “I'm Just Ken “ performance featuring everything from Marylin Monroe references to a rocking guitar moment alongside slash

  • Jimmy Fallon, the 96th  host, riffing off former president trumps critic tweet of Fallon’s hosting (despite being told by the night's producers not to)

The after-party:

The after party brings more than just cute gift bags and champagne toast, it also brings more red carpet looks. One in particular that stood out was Sydney Sweeny’s spectacular double homage in an archival Marc Bouwer gown, one worn by Angelina Jolie 20 years ago at the 2004 Oscars, who at the time was paying homage to Marylin Monroe’s iconic “seven-year itch” dress.

Some honorable mention moments I personally loved:

Messi (the dog) from Anatomy Of a Fall clapping during the awards

Davine Joy Randolph thanking her publicist in her acceptance speech (they deserve it I love publisist)
